What to do if I forgot my password?
How do I reset my password?
Error Message (if available):
Root Cause (if applicable):
NOTE: Use only supported browsers (and browser versions). See https://support.vbittech.com/hc/en-us/articles/360060701532
You can also go use "Forgotten password" link from the login form from VSSO:
Start the reset process through https://login.vbittech.com/#/forgot-password or "Forgot password" link from the login form.
Next, submit the email address of the member ID you want to reset:
NOTE: We ask for email address instead of member ID in case a malicious user is entering random member ID patterns.
If the email address is correct, instructions and a unique reset link will be sent to that email address. Click on it to start the reset process.
Check your email. You should receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org with instructions and a one-time use unique reset link.
If you did not receive the email, double-check if you submit the correct email address and also check your Junk/Spam folder. Email will be coming from email@example.com. It is recommended to add this address to your safe-list. If the email did go into your junk or spam folder, please move it out of there. Email clients may block links from emails marked as spam or junk.
NOTE: If the email is in your junk or spam folder, links may be blocked. Please move the email into your Inbox folder first.
Click on the reset-link from the email. This should open a unique URL that will allow you to change your password. See Example screen shot:
NOTE: MS Outlook for Windows issue: Outlook on Windows does not allow users to open the reset-link. The workaround is to use another email client. If your email is managed by Outlook 365, you can use https://www.outlook.com and try reading your email there. This does not affect Outlook on MacOS or other platforms.
The link should open a new browser window or tab:
Follow the instructions in this page.
